At Campus Gifts, we wrap every order with care and attention, just as we handle your returns and exchanges with the same thoughtful consideration. If your scented candle, personalised mug, or premium water bottle doesn’t bring the intended joy, our flexible policy ensures a smooth resolution.

Our Returns Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items in their original condition with all packaging intact. Please note:

  • Personalised items (engraved mugs, custom ornaments) cannot be returned unless faulty
  • Scented candles must be returned unused with original seals intact
  • Water bottles and travel mugs must be in resalable condition

Non-Returnable Items

Due to their personal nature, the following cannot be returned unless defective:

  • All personalised products (engraved mugs, monogrammed items)
  • Opened candle and fragrance products
  • Final sale items marked as such

How to Return an Item

Our returns process is as simple as selecting one of our carefully curated gifts:

  1. Initiate your return by emailing [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
  2. Wait for approval – our gift specialists will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
  3. Package your item securely in its original packaging (we recommend using similar protective wrapping to how we ship)
  4. Ship your return to our Newry address using a trackable service (return shipping is at customer’s expense)
  5. Receive confirmation when we process your return

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged. We recommend using:

  • DHL/FedEx for faster returns (typically 5-7 business days)
  • EMS for more economical returns (typically 10-15 business days)

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days
  • Your original payment method will be credited (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is our error
  • You’ll receive email confirmation when your refund is issued

Note: Depending on your financial institution, it may take 3-5 additional business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Exchange Process

Prefer a different ornament, trinket, or water bottle? We’re happy to facilitate exchanges:

  1. Follow the standard return process above
  2. Include a note specifying your desired exchange item
  3. We’ll process your exchange once we receive the original item
  4. You’ll be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping costs

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your carefully wrapped gift arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected]
  • Include photos of the damaged item and packaging
  • We’ll arrange a free return label if needed
  • Receive a replacement or full refund at no additional cost
